We help families and schools grow vegetables sustainably, improving diets and self-reliance.

At The Sahayak Trust, we believe long term change happens when people are equipped with knowledge , skills and confidence to transform their own lives. From understanding nutrition to growing their own food , we create locally owned, low cost, long term solutions that improve lives and livelihoods.
We work with Educational InstitutionsFamiliesLocal Leaders to build healthier, self-reliant communitiesSahayak Trust’s basic education programs focus on literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills while integrating health and nutrition awareness. Special emphasis is placed on educating individuals about anemia — its causes, prevention, and management — empowering communities to adopt better diets, improve iron intake, and lead healthier lives.

Sahayak Trust provides basic education programs that also raise awareness about health and nutrition, helping individuals.
The Sahayak Trust Institution for Nutrition Education provides Certificate Courses for University Students, Teachers, Trainers and others on nutrition theory and practical skills in growing and processing food.

We promote low-cost, toxin-free organic farming that not only supports improved nutritional intake but also helps generate higher, more sustainable incomes for rural families. Through hands-on training and community-based models, we are creating a new generation of farmers who value both health and the environment.

Our Kitchen Garden Initiative promotes organic, home-grown nutrition by helping families, especially in rural areas, cultivate small gardens using local resources. These gardens not only improve dietary diversity and reduce dependence on external food sources but also serve as powerful tools for nutrition education, especially in the fight against anaemia.

We teach institutions and individuals to grow vegetables and fruits organically, affordably and sustainably—improving health, reducing household expenses, and creating livelihood opportunities.
We collaborate with local governments, NGOs, schools, and grassroots organizations to bring programs directly to the communities that need them most. By co-creating solutions, sharing resources, and building local capacity, we ensure that our impact is rooted, sustainable, and truly community-driven.

We collaborate with governments, NGOs, and institutions to bring programs to where they’re needed most.
AFIF is a national collaborative led by The Sahayak Trust, bringing together civil society, researchers, and institutions to tackle nutritional deficiency anaemia.
